SI Shape Industries GmbH is a startup, although we have already spent two years developing our product.
Behind the operational people of our company are orthopedists, physiotherapists, athletes, sports teachers, and chemists, all contributing to the development and advancement of Shapes.
Of course, CAD operators, mold makers, and material specialists are involved, as well as an experienced business development team, accompanied by marketing experts and sales staff, who have successfully supported companies for many years and have an international network of global brands and cooperation partners.
..but we have developed a shoe insert that is suitable for almost all foot situations and gives everyone the same positive effect.
Hundreds of tests with athletes, extreme athletes, people doing physically demanding work, and everyday users have proven to us that our product will be accepted and have a place in the market.
We are not a medical company, and although we offer a product that can enhance performance, alleviate or even resolve pain for almost everyone, we still see ourselves as a lifestyle product.
Looking at our communication, it’s evident that our approach is completely different. Shoe inserts don’t have to be a necessary evil.
Instead: YEAH, I wear Shapes.
We all wear them… and enjoy their effect every day.
As do many of our customers.
There’s been a long and exciting journey behind us, and another one ahead.
This has been our declared goal from the beginning, and we are proud to produce our product and all packaging materials in Germany with German companies. We have achieved this goal… and we will achieve our other goals as well.
Why Shapes? How did it come about? What was the idea?
If you’re interested in all this, here’s the short version:
Our feet are the foundation of our body.
Thousands of years ago, people had an ideal foot shape. They primarily walked barefoot on stones, sand, gravel, and other uneven surfaces. Back then, hard, flat walkways like those we know today didn’t exist.
The foot was forced to adapt to these irregularities, leading to optimal blood circulation and strengthening of the foot muscles. This strengthening of the foot arch resulted in a balanced and stable body posture.
Nowadays, we mostly walk on flat and hard surfaces and wear shoes. Due to evolution, the human body is not designed to wear shoes. It is unnatural for our bodies when we do so.
Wearing shoes often leads to decreased foot mobility and weakening of the arch, potentially resulting in lost foot stability. This can adversely affect body balance and posture, often causing joint misalignments and muscle tension.
However, shoes are an indispensable part of our modern society for various reasons, including workplace safety, sports, fashion, and conventional dress codes.
